Now Entering Eddy Curry Territory: Amare Stoudemire

This post isn't long enough to be its own blog, but it's interesting nonetheless. A few years back Yahoo started a stat called "The Eddy Curry Line." It was used primarily for fantasy purposes to show what players were the exact opposite of "stat stuffers." In order to qualify, a player had to have more turnovers than assists, blocks and steals combined.

I did a quick check and from what I was able to find only one player is in the Eddy Curry Zone this season, and that's Amare Stoudemire. So far he has 74 turnovers and only 71 combined assists, blocks and steals.

Somebody is going to give this guy a very large contract next summer, and my guess is that somebody is going to regret it for a long time.
